Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S. This is a graduate award. Must be a bonafide Arkansas resident, as defined by ADHE, for at least six months prior to the application date. Must attend an Arkansas college or university. Must be an African American, Asian American, Native American or Hispanic. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien. Must be admitted to any approved master's level program in education, other than administration. Must be enrolled full time (a minimum of nine semester credit hours or its equivalent, excluding correspondence courses). Must have been a recipient of the Minority Teacher Scholars Program. Must have received a baccalaureate degree at time of application. Please note: Priority will be given to applicants who have completed baccalaureate degrees within the past two years.
