Must have passed the Arkansas High School Diploma (GED) test in the calendar year prior to the application for the Second Effort Scholarship and achieved one of the 10 highest scores. Must have been a resident of Arkansas for one year or more prior to successfully completing the GED test. Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident alien. Must be a domestic student in the U.S. This is a freshman year award. Must be 18 years of age or older or a former member of a high school class which has graduated. Must enroll in a minimum of six credit hours per semester.
