Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S. This award is for college sophomores, juniors and/or seniors. Must have an overall grade point average of 2.85 or higher and a grade point average of 3.00 or higher in the major. If no courses have been attempted in the major, an overall grade point average of 3.0 is required. Must be a current, active member in an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Student Chapter program, or be employed by an ABC member firm. Must be enrolled in a construction-related program. Architecture and most engineering programs are not eligible. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have successfully completed at least one year in an associate or baccalaureate degree program, with at least one full year left.
