Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be a high school student who will graduate by June 2006 OR be a current college student who has completed a minimum of four semesters of her program and has a minimum of two semesters of course work remaining after the receipt of the scholarship. Must attend a college or university in the greater Houston, Texas area. Must be a domestic student in the U.S. Must be currently enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program in a computer-related field (e.g. computer science, management information systems, information technology, etc.). Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale. This award is for college freshmen, juniors, and/or graduate students. Must reside within the Houston area if currently in high school. Must attend or plan to attend an accredited, four-year college or university in the southeastern area of Texas. Boundaries are north to Conroe, east to Beaumont, south to Galveston, and west to San Antonio. Must be a female.
