Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S. This award is for college juniors, seniors and/or graduate students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must major in engineering or physical science (physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, etc.) with the intention to pursue research or advance his/her field upon completion of a final degree. An applicant intending on pursuing a practice in professional medicine is not considered. An applicant intending to do biomedical research is considered. Must attend one of the following schools: Georgia Institute of Technology, Harvey Mudd College, Miami University at Oxford, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina State University, North Dakota State University, Pennsylvania State University, Purdue University, Syracuse University, Texas A&M University at College Station, Tufts University, University of Central Florida, University of Colorado, University of Kentucky, University of Minnesota, University of Oklahoma, University of Washington at Seattle, or Washington University. Must be at least a third-year college student at time of application.
