Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S. Must be one of the following minorities as defined by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC): American Indian or Alaska Native; Asian or Pacific Islander; Black or African American; or Hispanic or Latino. Must be a full-time student. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must have a declared major in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering or in one of the environmental sciences (geology, hydrogeology, biology, ecology, public health, or industrial hygiene toxicology). This is a junior year award. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States. Must be enrolled in his/her junior year at an accredited four-year undergraduate college at time of application.
