Requirements This is a freshman year award. Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen. If the applicant is an eligible non-citizen, documentation from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service must accompany the application. Must be a domestic student in the U.S. Must be a high school senior at time of nomination. Must be a legal resident of California. Must graduate from a public or private secondary school between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2006 or receive the equivalent of a certificate of graduation as recognized by the California State Department of Education between July 1, 2005 and April 1, 2006. Must enroll in and attend a U.S. postsecondary public or private institution on a full-time basis during the fall term of the 2006-2007 academic year.
