Must be planning to enroll in two courses or more during the next term at a two-year institution, and be planning to use the funds for educational expenses at the two-year institution. Must have demonstrated academic success with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Must have completed 100 hours of community service within the previous 12 months. The applicant must have this validated by his/her college nominator. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must have already graduated from high school and be currently enrolled in a two-year institution. Must be a domestic student in the U.S. This award is for college freshmen and/or sophomores. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a two-year institution and be seeking an associate's degree. Students who are planning to transfer to a four-year institution in the upcoming fall term or are currently enrolled at a four-year institution are not eligible to apply.
