Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S. This is a freshman year award. Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen. Must be a high school senior at time of application. Must plan to enroll in a college or university in the state of Florida. Must have appropriate CPT subtest scores (Reading-83, Sentence Skills-83, Algebra-72) OR appropriate SAT subtest scores (Verbal-440, Math-440) OR appropriate ACT subtest scores (English-17, Reading-18, Math-19). Must have a minimum weighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher using the 15.5 core credits required for high school graduation (see the website provided for the list of the core credits). Must also have an unweighted grade point average of 3.5 or higher in a minimum of three vocational credits in one vocational program. Must be a resident of the state of Florida for purposes other than education for a minimum of 12 consecutive months prior to the first day of class of the academic term for which funds are requested. Must receive a high school diploma (or its equivalent) in the state of Florida. Must not have been found guilty of, or pled no contest to, a felony charge. Must enroll for six credit hours or more per semester.
