Requirements This program is not open to residents of Hawaii, New Jersey or New York. Must be a domestic student in the U.S. This is a freshman year award. Must be a high school senior at time of application. Must have a 'B' average (cumulative) or higher, or equivalent overall grade point average. Must have a parent or legal guardian who is a part-time or full-time employee of a U.S. public or private school district, or public or private college or university. The parent must be employed by a U.S. public or private school district, or a U.S. public or private college or university at the time of application and at the time the scholarship is awarded. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must enroll full time at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the fall.
