Requirements Must major in a food-related field (such as culinary arts, baking/pastry arts, or food science), business, or marketing. This is an undergraduate and/or graduate award. Must be a domestic student in the U.S. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. This requirement may be waived for first-time returning adult students. Applicants should call the scholarship provider for information. Must be a high school senior or older at time of application. Must be currently employed (during the college school year) with an IDDBA member company. The applicant must be a current full- or part-time employee of a supermarket in-store dairy, deli, or bakery department OR an employee in a food-related business (e.g., food manufacturer, food broker, distributor) in dairy, deli, or bakery sales, with at least 50 percent face-to-face contact with store-level supermarket dairy, deli, or bakery department personnel.
