Requirements	Open to seniors graduating from high schools in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Residents of Maryland and Virginia must be planning to attend a 2-year accredited institution, certification or licensure program, or trade school in their state of residency; residents of Washington D.C. may attend a similar institution in the area. Students planning to attend a 4-year college or university are not eligible. Applicants must submit brief essays on their financial need and their personal goals.
