Requirements Applicant must be an Asian Pacific woman and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, demonstrate financial need, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have demonstrated leadership ability, academic achievement, community service, independence, creativity, and commitment to provisions for this award for four years. Applicant must submit five copies of high school transcript (with highlighted GPA), five copies of list/resume of extracurricular activities and work experience, five copies of one-page, single-spaced essay on the importance of higher education, one copy of a letter of acceptance from college/university, one copy of a letter of intent to enroll in college/university, one copy of financial aid award notification, and one copy of Student Aid Report (SAR) Summary Sheet. Recipient must write a paper at the end of the first year in college describing her college experience as an Asian-American Pacific woman.
