Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This is a freshman year award.; Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.; Must have been a resident of New York for a minimum of one year immediately preceding the effective date of the award.; Must be a graduating high school senior at time of application.; Must have an unweighted grade point average of 95.00 (equivalent to 3.5 on a 4.0 scale) or higher in selected academic courses. *Details for the required courses are on the information bulletin that is available online.; Must attend a high school in New York.; Must have a score of 1875 or higher on the SAT (critical reading plus writing plus math scores from a single administration) OR a score of 28 or higher on the ACT if the SAT was not taken. *Please note: The required SAT score is equivalent to a 1248 on the old SAT.
