Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This is an undergraduate award.; Must be 16 to 22 years of age at time of application.; Must enroll in a minimum of six credit hours or the equivalent per term.; Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.; Must be the dependent child of a qualified veteran or serviceman (this includes only children of deceased or disabled vets, or children of servicemen classified as POW or MIA).; Must be a dependent child of a qualified veteran or serviceman whose official military and residency status is verified by the Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs.; Must meet Florida residency requirements for receipt of state-funded student financial aid by maintaining residency in Florida for purposes other than education for a minimum of 12 consecutive months prior to the first day of class of the academic term for which funds are requested.; Must be a high school senior or older at time of application.; Must attend or plan to attend an eligible college or university in Florida.
