Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This is a freshman year award.; Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.; Must be a high school senior at time of application.; Must plan to enroll in a college or university in the state of Florida.; Must have a weighted grade point average of 3.5 or higher, using the following fifteen credits of college preparatory academic courses: four units of English (three with substantial writing); three units of mathematics (Algebra I and above); three units of natural sciences (two with substantial lab); three units of social sciences; and two units of a foreign language.; Must have a SAT score of 1270 or higher OR an ACT score of 28 higher.; Must be a resident of the state of Florida for purposes other than education for a minimum of 12 consecutive months prior to the first day of class of the academic term for which funds are requested.; Must receive a high school diploma (or its equivalent) in the state of Florida.; Must enroll for six credit hours or more per semester.; Must not have been found guilty of, or pled no contest to, a felony charge.; Must have completed 75 hours of community service, as approved by the district or private school.
