Requirements Must be currently serving as an elected student body participant in any one of the following student government, civic, or educational organizations: student body president, vice president, secretary or treasurer; student council representative; or student representative to a district, regional, or state-level civic or educational organization.; Must be a resident of Ohio.; Must currently be enrolled in a public or private secondary school located in Ohio. One of the student's parents or guardians must legally reside in Ohio. A student attending a school which is located in a state other than the state of legal residence of either one of his/her parents or guardians is not eligible.; Must have participated in the most recent Buckeye Boys or Buckeye Girls State Program.; Must be a high school senior at time of application.; Must be a permanent resident of the United States.; Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This is a freshman year award.
