Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This is an undergraduate and/or graduate award.; Must attend an accredited North Carolina junior college, community college, technical school, or college or university (public or private) approved by the program.; Must have a veteran parent rated by USDVA as 100 percent disabled due to wartime service as defined in the law, and be currently or at time of death drawing compensation for such disability.; Must have been born in North Carolina and resided there continuously and be a resident of North Carolina at the time of application. In addition, the veteran parent must have been a legal resident of North Carolina at time of entry into service.; Must be under the age of 25 at the time of application.; Must be the child of a disabled veteran.; Must be a high school graduate or older at time of application.; Must be a U.S. citizen.
