Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This is an undergraduate and/or graduate award.; Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. Eligible non-citizens must be permanent U.S. resident aliens with a green card, or refugees with a departure record (Form I-94) from the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service showing one of the following designations: refugee; asylum granted; alien paroled into the United States for at least one year; alien granted a stay of deportation due to fear of persecution on account of race, religion, or political opinion; or conditional entrant (if I-94 was issued before April 1980). *Please note: Students studying in the United States on an F1 visa are not eligible for this award.; Must have an annual adjusted gross family income of $35,000 or less, as documented on a 2005 federal income-tax return on which the applicant is claimed as a federal tax exemption.; Must be a high school senior or older at time of application. GED recipients are also eligible. Students must plan to enroll or be enrolled in college through Feb. 1, 2007.; Must plan to enroll or be enrolled in full- or half-time undergraduate or full-time graduate or professional-degree coursework at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school.
