Amount Up to $2,500 annually, renewable for one year.
Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This award is for college juniors, seniors and/or graduate students.; Must be a resident of Wisconsin.; Must be enrolled in a program leading to teacher licensure.; Must be a minority student. For purposes of this award, a minority student is defined as a student who is either an African American; American Indian; Hispanic; or Southeast Asian from Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam admitted to the United States after Dec. 31, 1975.; Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.; Must be a high school graduate or older at time of application.; Must be enrolled on a half-time basis or greater.; Must attend a University of Wisconsin campus, or an independent institution in the state of Wisconsin (a list of schools is located at www.waicuweb.org).; Must be a resident of the United States who is either a citizen or an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence by the Federal Immigration and Naturalization Service.
