Requirements Must be a college sophomore or older at time of application. The student may be a sophomore, transfer student or in an accelerated learning program, but must be entering or beyond the second half of his/her undergraduate education or a graduate student by Sept. 15 of the scholarship year.; This award is available for international students and domestic students in the U.S.; This award is for college juniors, seniors and/or graduate students.; Must enroll full time at an accredited four-year college or university.; Must major or minor in speech. Professional speakers and trainers, speech educators and those who want to or are using their speaking talents for improving the lives of others should apply for this award. This scholarship does not apply to speech pathology, television/radio or mass media, public relations, law, or human resources.
