Requirements Must plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university in Maine starting the next academic year.; Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This is a freshman year award.; Must be a high school senior at time of application.; Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.; Must live with parent(s) or guardian(s) who are legal residents of Maine's Knox or Waldo counties or one of the following areas: Maine School Administrative District #1 (MSAD) Presque Isle, Castle Hill, Chapman, Mapleton, or Westfield; MSAD #9-Farmington, Weld, Temple, Wilton, New Vineyard, New Industry, New Sharon, Chesterville, or Vienna; MSAD #27-Fort Kent, St. Francis, St. John Plantation, Wallagrass Plantation, Eagle Lake, Winterville Plantation, or New Canada; or Chebeague, Cliff Island, Long Island, Peaks Island, Frenchboro, Islesford, Cranberry Isle, Swans Island, or Monhegan.; Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.; Must plan to enroll full time at an accredited four-year college or university starting the next academic year.; Must graduate from a Maine high school.
