Three national scholarships of $16,000 are awarded
Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This is a freshman year award.; Must be a high school senior at time of application. A senior is defined as any student who will graduate between Jan. 1 and Aug. 31 in the year in which the scholarship is initially awarded.; Must be in the upper half of graduating class.; Must enroll full time at an accredited four-year college or university.; Must be a beneficial member of Modern Woodmen of America for two years or more as of Sept. 30 of his/her graduating year of high school. The benefit certificate held by the student must be on a premium-paying basis or must be paid up according to the terms of the certificate other than through use of the nonforfeiture option.; Must be a U.S. citizen.; Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
