This award is available for international students and domestic students in the U.S.; This is a graduate award. The student may not have earned more than 12 semester hours toward an MLS/MLIS prior to June 1 of the year awarded.; Must be working in a library as part of the support staff.; Must be a U.S. citizen, Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of the United States.; Must be planning to pursue an MLS or advanced degree.; Must plan to study in the area of library and information studies.; Must have applied to one of the ALA-accredited library schools and be accepted by June of the award year.
