Scholarships range in amount from $1,000 to $3,500
Must be a U.S. citizen.; Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; This is an undergraduate award.; Must be a high school graduate or older at time of application. The applicant must have completed one semester or more as a foodservice major at time of application.; Must be a resident of California at time of initial application.; Must attend a California college or university.; Must have a cumulative college grade point average of 2.75 or higher.; Must major in foodservice. For the purpose of this award, a student is considered a foodservice major if 50 percent or more of the student's course load is comprised of foodservice-related subjects or an approved foodservice curriculum.; Must be a full-time student OR a part-time student who currently works in the foodservice or hospitality industry 20 hours per week or more. For the purpose of this award, full-time enrollment is defined as twelve units or more per semester and part-time enrollment is defined as six units or more per semester.
