This award is available for international students and domestic students in the U.S.; This is a freshman year award.; Must be a graduating high school senior at time of application. The applicant must be planning on attending an accredited college, university or vocational institution in the fall after graduation.; Must be a sibling of a child who has or has had cancer. An applicant who has a brother or sister who has cancer, but is no longer in treatment, is also eligible to apply as long as he/she was living in the same household and between the ages of 4 and 18 when his/her sibling was diagnosed and treated. Half-brothers/sisters and step-brothers/sisters are eligible to apply, as long as they are living in the same household as a child who has cancer.; Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) or 2.5 or higher (on a 5.0 scale).; Must live in the United States, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
