Requirements Must be a domestic student in the U.S.; Must be a high school junior or senior at time of application. Please note: A student who graduates high school at the close of the fall 2005 semester/quarter is not eligible to apply for the program.; Must be a permanent resident of the United States.; This is a freshman year award.; Must be a resident of Washington.; Must currently be enrolled in a public or private secondary school located in Washington. One of the student's parents or guardians must legally reside in Washington. A student attending a school which is located in a state other than the state of legal residence of either one of his/her parents or guardians is not eligible.; Must plan to attend one of the six Washington Association of Secondary School Principals (WASSP) week-long student leadership camps. The applicant must be one of the 12 nominees nominated by his/her camp as a state finalist for the U.S. Senate Youth Scholarship Program.
